My Story

It all started with me picking up a book on reflexology in 1997. At the time my wife had a chronic condition that caused her a lot of pain, and I would massage her feet to bring her some relief. Although I worked in finance, I knew I liked helping people with pain.

When I transitioned away from my finance career, I tried massage school in 2002. I loved it right away. When I completed the program, I worked at a few spas and chiropractic offices. Then I started my practice in 2003.

By 2006, I was teaching massage classes and sharing what I had learned so far. And as any teacher knows, you learn a lot while teaching.

In 2007, I started my Rolfing® training in Colorado. That took my bodywork to a whole other level. I continued my private practice and teaching, and continued my training in Brazil in 2008, becoming a Certified Rolfer. In 2015 I returned to Colorado and trained for five weeks with some amazing instructors to become a Certified Advanced Rolfer.

Over the following few years, I focused on my private practice and started teaching more advanced level classes.

Teaching in Taiwan was my first International gig in 2012. Since then, I’ve taught in Japan, Switzerland and Poland. I also extended my US teaching to Washington, Florida, and Nevada. I enjoy meeting new people and I’m always looking to teach in new communities.

In 2012, I wrote my first book “Mastering Body Mechanics”. My Minor in English finally came in handy!

I established the Morales Method® of Manual Therapy & Body Conditioning in 2013. I had a decade of working under my belt and had clocked in well over 10,000 hours of bodywork. I saw what worked and what didn’t. Influenced by all my training and hours in private practice, I designed my own way of seeing the body and knowing where to work. Since I was deep into teaching by then, I created certification programs for #seriousbodyworkers who wanted to get their clients out of pain.

Being heavily online and deep into social media, I offered short tutorials and videos on several platforms. In 2016 I commissioned the professional filming of my first DVD “Advanced Neck Work”. I also published my book “Core Integration Therapy” that year.

In 2017, I took a giant leap forward and launched the Morales Method® Academy of Structural Integration - AND got it IASI approved! We are only 1 of 19 schools approved worldwide and look forward to sharing our knowledge on a global scale.

I look forward to continuing to offer programs, courses and tools that help bodyworkers help their clients get out of pain.
