Lynnwood Food Bank FAQ'S:

- Who can come to the food bank?
Anyone can come to the food bank. It does not matter where you live or how much money you make. If you need assistance, we are here help feed you and your family and help your budget be more flexible. We continue to do a drive-through distribution since COVID; walk-up areas are available for those without vehicles

- What documents do I need to come to the food bank and is my information safe?
ID is helpful but not required. We do not require any documents, and any information you share is confidential. We only share numbers, no information about who we serve. That is private!

- What foods do you give at the Food Bank?
Everything we serve is based on what donations we receive. Usually, your groceries will include: Meat, eggs, beverages, deli items, canned and dry goods, fresh fruits and fresh vegetables, breads and pastry. We also have sugar free, gluten free, low-sodium, as well as cultural foods for the Hispanic, Asian, and Middle Eastern cultures. Pet food and baby supplies are also available. Please see Express VS Traditional for modification information.

- What is the difference between Express and Traditional Distribution?
Express: On Wednesdays your wait will be much shorter. Groceries are shopped by family size and THE ONLY MODIFICATIONS are allergies, cultural, Halal meat, Baby food/supplies, and pet food. Traditional: On Fridays your wait will be longer and your groceries will be shopped to your order. Modifications are BASED ON AVAILABILITY. Modifications include the above listed items as well as gluten free, sugar free, low-sodium, and more. The Saturday food truck distribution is also traditional.

- How often can I come to the food bank?
You can come to the food bank once per week. Choose either Wednesday or Friday. However, if your work schedule prevents you coming when we are open, e-mail us and we can help find a solution. lynnwoodfoodbank@comcast.net
