Life With Kidney Disease Welcome to Life With Kidney Disease. When I was a little child, I was taken out of my home at the age of 6 years old and placed into foster care.

This website was design to help inform others about kidney Disease and to give a testimony about how God has rescue me, and free me from my sins. Where I went through a lot of foster homes. Finally at the age of 10 years old I was introduced to a foster family who promised me that they would adopt me into their home. But things started to turn from good to bad within a year of staying with the family. As time went on, I was introduced to a private Christian school named Light House Christian Academy. As I attended this school, I was a trouble child and would not focus on school work but instead would walk the hallways of the school and talk to my friend Caleb Phillips. But by the grace of God I was introduced to a teacher who would led me to the Lord at the age of 11 years old. At this time of my life things at home were turning for the worse and I would have to eventually move from their home. I was very trouble in my heart and didn't know what to do and started to getting into a lot of trouble with my behavior at school. But one day while I was in school, I was introduced to a school nurse named Marie Wickham who would eventually adopt me into to her family home. At the age of 12 years old, I would have to move from the foster home into the Wickham's home. I was still having problems at school and would have to move from the private Christian school into a public school that would help me with my education and behavior problems at school. At the age of 14 years old, I was adopted into the Wickham's family. As time went on in my life, I became more focused on the Lord instead of myself and would rededicate my life to Christ at the age of 15 years old. At the age of 18 years old, I graduated from Rising Sun High School and would start working at Martins Food Markets. I would eventually move from Martins Food Markets into a full-time job at Saks Fifth Avenue. My life style at home was really good I thought until one day while I was at an event with the church, when I received a phone call from my mom stating that things with my mom and dad were turning for the worse, my mom would tell me not to worry about them instead, to focus on the missionary trip that I was on with the Church . Finally one night at home my mom and dad would tell me that things between them was not working out for them and would eventually led them to a divorce. At the age of 22 years old I was very heart broke over my mom and dad and didn't know exactly what to do. Instead of acting out in anger, I would pray for my mom and dad and would ask God to guide them into His will and not theirs. But as time moved on my mom and I would move from our house located in Port Deposit, Maryland into a rental house which is located in Havre De Grace, Maryland. At the age of 22 years I received a check up from my doctor and when the blood work came back from the doctor's office, I received some really bad news that would change my life forever. I would find out from my doctor that I had Kidney Disease, this news was very scary for me and I began to question God and I asked Him why He allowed me to have Kidney Disease. He didn't reveal His plan to me and I was in and out of the hospital for a while because of my Kidney Disease. On June 10, 2010, at the age of 23 years old, I would undergo PD dialysis and would eventually switch from PD dialysis to Hemodialysis. I began to get tired and depressed of dialysis and would tell my mom that I was tired and depressed of dialysis. She began to get really worried about me and began to pray that God would watch over me and would pray that God would give me a new kidney. At the at the age of 26 years old, On July 8, 2013 I received a phone call from John Hopkins Transplant team, they would inform me that there was a live donor willing to donate his kidney to me. On July 23, 2013 I received a Kidney Transplant from a very special person who name is Jim Chittock he is 32 years old and lives in Virginia, he is very special to me and will always be a part of my life. Jim told me when I was introduced to him why he decided to donate his kidney to me. He would tell me that as he grew up, he saw some of his family struggle through some illness and his boss was a kidney recipient, who would help him with the research on the Kidney donation. As he study, he would also learn that many people would die while waiting for a kidney transplant. This really touch his heart and would prepare himself over the next 4 years to get ready for the Kidney donation. God has truly revealed that He will never leave me and will always take care of all things in my life and He does have a special plan for my life. As for today I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me in the future.

And some day He will return.

"Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war." Revelation 19:11

Will you be ready?

Can Rudolph really light the way?
Maybe not , but Jesus can!
Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." - John 8:12
"In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."
- John 1:4
We don't have to live in darkness anymore...
"For God who said, 'Light shall shine out of darkness,' is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." - Corinthians 4:6
Now we can be a light, too!
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." - Matthew 5:16
