Each year, ACDIS analyzes CDI industry data for new insights into the trends, developments, and hot topics of the profession. This report is written in collaboration with one of our ACDIS Advisory Board members and shared with the whole CDI community to kick off our CDI Week celebrations, which will occur September 15-19, 2025.
But the accuracy of this data is very much dependent on your input. Last year we learned thanks to our respondents that provider query response rates have continued an upward climb, from 60% in 2023 to 69% in 2024 reporting a 91%-100% response rate. After years of little change, the percentage of respondents who reported their medical staff as “highly engaged” saw a notable increase from 13% to almost 17%. And we saw yet another increase of CCDS credential holders, from 66% to 70%.
What will we learn this year? To make sure this report truly reflects industry trends, we sincerely ask you to take just 10 minutes of your day and contribute your experiences in the CDI profession now.
