After months of debate, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act has been signed into law. The ADA fought for numerous tax provisions that benefit dental practices. Based on our advocacy, the Pass-Through Entity Tax (PTET) deduction was fully restored, avoiding a nearly 5 percent tax increase on dental practices, and numerous other tax provisions that support small businesses were also included. We’ll be working to address future challenges with our state dental associations to protect Medicaid adult dental benefits, safeguard dental education affordability, and ensure that every community has access to the dental care it needs.
