🏃♂️ Let kids play hard this summer—just make sure they're playing safe! ⚽
Summer sports are in full swing, and we want your little athletes to have the best season yet. Here are our top safety tips to keep them in the game:
💧 Stay Hydrated
Kids overheat fast! Make sure they're drinking water before, during, and after play. Kids don't like water? It's okay to sometimes substitute in healthy popsicles or juices. You're not just a regular mom, you're a fun mom after all ;) If they're complaining of headaches or feeling dizzy, it's time for a water break.
🛡️ Gear Up Right
We know kids like to protest, but remind them they only get one brain and it's our job as their mom to help them keep it safe. Helmets are non-negotiable when on wheels! Helmets, pads, and proper shoes aren't just suggestions—they're essential. The right protective gear can prevent serious injuries and keep your child confident on the field.
🤸♀️ Warm-Up & Rest
For those little ones, we know sometimes it's hard to convince them to rest! Make it fun - turn it into a game. Teach them young the importance of warming up our bodies before jumping into a full workout. Prevent overuse injuries by encouraging proper warm-ups, cool-downs, and regular breaks. Growing bodies need time to recover!
