🌟 Staff Spotlight: Jaime Miller 🌟

This month, we’re celebrating someone who helps keep our Cu***ng office running like a well-oiled machine: meet Jaime! As Administrative Supervisor, Jaime has been a vital part of the AOFS family for 6 years, leading her team with patience, encouragement, and incredible dedication. According to Brookanne, “Jaime is an excellent supervisor! She is so patient and willing to help teach in any way possible! She is respected so much by her colleagues and is an exceptional leader. She is such an asset to AOFS!"

Outside the office, Jaime lives life to the fullest with her husband of 22 years, Jason, and their three kids, Mike, Brenden, and Hailey, plus their four adorable fur babies: Chief, Coco, Baxter, and Mischief.

Jaime and Jason love exploring new breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants, and they’re always up for an off-road Jeep adventure. She’s also a big fan of live music (her “happy place”), especially when paired with Mexican food! From George Strait to Slightly Stoopid to JD Clayton, her playlist is always fresh. Jaime is also a huge Braves fan and enjoys watching F1, UFC, football, and Motocross/Supercross.

Jaime, your willingness to always help where you can and support your team makes a lasting impact. Thank you for all you do. We’re so grateful to have you as part of the AOFS family! 💙

The AOFS team had an incredible time hosting our amazing referral partners at last Thursday’s Stockbridge Open House! It was a pleasure to showcase our new facility and connect with the wonderful dental community in Stockbridge.

We had an incredible time at The Neuroscience of Conversations with Coach Elix Cintron - great venue, amazing food, and an even better keynote that had the entire room leaning in.

The conversations were real. The energy was high. And the mission behind it all? Bigger than just CE.
It was about growing as leaders, showing up differently for our teams, and creating real impact - inside and outside the practice.

Thanks to Dr. Gonzalez for starting us off with a presentation on wisdom teeth so that our referrals are prepared for the busy summer season. Thanks to Dr. Lee for hosting as well, and to all our loyal Newnan and Fayetteville referrals for coming out and leaning in with us!

Another successful CE event! This past Thursday our Cu***ng, Johns Creek, Hamilton Mill, Sugarloaf, and Sugar Hill top referring dentists and their staff joined with us at Frankie’s Steakhouse in Duluth for a wonderful continuing education course with Dr. Jay Smith. Our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with appetizers, a delicious steak dinner, an engaging lecture on the latest in implant and esthetic dentistry, and great company and conversation!

This is our 4th year hosting a CE event at Frankie’s and it just keeps getting better. It has become one of our favorite traditions, something we know wouldn’t be possible without our loyal and enthusiastic partners in dentistry. Thanks to all who came out (especially in that crazy Georgia summer weather!) and thanks to our sponsors and for helping make this special night possible! We appreciate all of you ❤️

Last night was one to remember! 🦷✨ We had an incredible evening with our Calhoun and Rome referring dentists and their amazing teams. Over dinner and drinks at The Water Tower Grille, we learned all about implant maintenance from one of our favorite speakers, Cyndi Roussert.

Staff Spotlight: Meet Brandy ✨

We’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Brandy, our incredible Regional Insurance Verification Team Supervisor, celebrating 15 years with AOFS and 20 years alongside Dr. Treadway in our Douglasville location. Brandy brings a wealth of experience, steady leadership, and heartfelt dedication to everything she does — both professionally and personally.

Outside the office, Brandy enjoys life with her husband Allan of 25 years, their 3 children, and 5 beautiful grandkids. Whether she’s camping, boating, or riding motorcycles, she’s all about making memories with her family.

When asked about her time with Dr. Treadway, Brandy shared, “Over the past 20 years, Dr. Treadway has taught me so much, and I’m deeply grateful for his guidance and support. I’m excited to see what the next 20 years with AOFS and Dr. Treadway will bring.”

What a night! 🎉 Last week’s happy hour was a blast celebrating our amazing Cumberland referring dentists and their incredible hardworking teams. Huge thanks to Dr. Bankston for hosting! From delicious food and drinks to raffle prizes, a photo booth, and even some dancing 👀, it was a night to remember! Thank you to everyone who came out and made it so special. Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of hosting a special CE event at Dunwoody Country Club, led by Drs. Velez, Keim, Dillard, and Blair. The evening brought together our referring dentists and their teams for an important conversation about mental health in dentistry.

Dr. Brandon James lead an impactful presentation on the critical need for self-care in a high-pressure, fast-paced field such as ours. Together, we explored practical strategies to manage burnout, reduce anxiety, and build a healthier, more supportive workplace culture.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful evening of connection, learning, and growth. We’re especially grateful to Dr. James for courageously sharing his journey and serving as a beacon of hope for those facing similar struggles in our profession. A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Hands-On Anterior Aesthetic CE Event last week!
Our Woodstock, Canton, and Acworth doctors joined fellow referrals for an evening of hands-on learning focused on managing single-tooth implants in the aesthetic zone and maximizing peri-implant soft-tissue aesthetics. With guidance from ZimVie's Wayne Szara, participants worked directly with models, instruments, and restorative components to practice creating Immediate Screw Retained Provisional Restorations and Custom Impression Copings—while also exploring the latest advancements in implant technology.

Pints 'n Pups 2025 was a Paw-some Success! 🍻🐾

A big thank you to everyone who joined us Monday at NoFo Brewery for our 3rd Biannual Pints 'n Pups Referral Appreciation Event! We had an incredible turnout, and it was amazing seeing so many familiar faces (and wagging tails 🐶) come together to support a special cause.

This event was hosted in partnership with Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters , Atlanta's largest nonprofit no-kill animal shelter, to help support pet adoption, donations, and volunteer opportunities. Thanks to Furkids, guests got to meet (and cuddle!) some adoptable pups looking for their forever homes—plus, many brought their own furry companions to join the fun!

Huge thanks to Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q for the delicious dinner and desserts, and to everyone who came out to eat, drink, mingle, and invest in your local dental community. Your energy and generosity made the night unforgettable.

Happy Birthday Dr. Threadgill! Thank you for your leadership, positivity, and tenacity. We are so thankful for all your hard work and dedication to improving smiles and lives all around you. Enjoy your special day - we hope you feel appreciated and celebrated!

Jonathan M.C. Threadgill, DMD, began his career with a tennis scholarship and graduated with honors in chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He completed dental school and a general practice residency at UAB before pursuing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. With extensive experience in Alabama and Georgia, he specializes in outpatient anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, dental implants, and advanced bone grafting. Dr. Threadgill is board-certified and actively contributes to academic research and medical missions worldwide. He currently works out of our Cu***ng and Hamilton Mill offices and resides in Suwanee with his wife and 3 kids.

Recently, our Cu***ng, Hamilton Mill, Johns Creek, Sugar Hill, and Sugarloaf referring dentists gathered for a CE program featuring Dr. Jay Smith and his point of view on implant restorations, including the strategies for handling complications. With a packed house of nearly 80 attendees at Frankie's the Steakhouse, everyone enjoyed a pre-dinner social hour, a delicious meal, an extremely informative and engaging discussion, and some fun summer raffle prizes!
