Add a comment… Thank you to to City of Tigard for all your support. STUDD had another successful event. I had the privilege to help our STUDD Leadership present to City Council an overview of all the activities we have done for 2024-25 school year! I sure love the work I do! The students are amazing!

In recognition of Mental health Awareness Month, we did another Rock Painting activity that was a great success. We painted over 50 rocks and will distribute them around Cook Park in hopes that whoever finds one, it will make them smile. Our goal is to:
'Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody' and
'Be the reason someone smiles today.'

It was a fun and eventful MLK Weekend for Tigard Turns the Tide and Tigard Youth Advisory Council! Our volunteer event was filled to capacity and with the buzz of children, teens, and adults alike working together to honor the life and leagacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We made a total of 11 blankets to support those experiencing houselessness in our community through Just Compassion of East Washington County.
