Self-Treatment Success!

Injured my knee while teaching martial arts today—swollen, painful on extension, and felt like a deep bruise inside the joint, tendon, and bone 🍗

Usually, I use my elbow or healthy knee for quick relief, but today, I tried something different.

Using imaging & tendinomuscular theory, I treated my index finger instead… and boom! 85-90% pain relief + reduced swelling in 10 minutes.

What’s the name of this acupuncture point? No clue! 😂 Time to check my Master Tung books because it is definitely not a TCM point.

This experience makes me appreciate how past masters discovered new points—always something new to learn.

Got tight jaw muscles or TMJ discomfort?

Try these acupressure points to help get some relief 😌

Firmly press on each point for 30-60 seconds. Spend more time on the most sensitive or tender points. Do this 1-3 times per day. Consistency is key 👍

👉 If pregnant avoid the following acupuncture points LI4 (He Gu) and Master Tung's Ling Gu as they are contraindicated 👈
