This week at PLAZA Mobile Market, we'll have fresh grapefruit, dates, lots of leafy greens, two kinds of onions, green garlic, zucchini, and more! This would be a great week for a beautiful ratatouille or a plate of calabacitas -- some pick up some affordable locally grown produce and treat your family to a lovely homemade dinner!

Starting THIS WEEK, on Wednesday we will be open from 8:30am to 10:30am at Valencia Library! On Thursday we will keep our usual hours (10am to 11:30am) at Quincie Douglas Library. Summer veggies are starting to come in -- stop by the market and find fresh purslane, summer squash, and more!

Starting in May (next week!) PLAZA Mobile Market will be open from 8:30am to 10:30am on Wednesdays at Valencia Library. On Thursdays at Quincie Douglas Library, PLAZA will take place from 10am to 11:30am.

We want to give a huge shout out to our very own Meredith Glaubach who is the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Staff in Cooperative Extension Award!

Meredith has been with the Garden Kitchen for about two years, during which time she has implemented, grown, and coordinated our PLAZA Mobile Market whose goal is to support an equitable local food system and increase food security by selling fresh, affordable produce in communities where it is often difficult to obtain such items, while simultaneously creating economic opportunities for small farmers.

Tucson is lucky to have you, Meredith!
