🤎 Join sistets Jenyse & Josette for Twitches Healing Sessions: Energy Healing/Reiki & Seated Hilot (Upper Body)

When: Sundays 10-3pm

Sliding scale cost: All 75-minute energy healing sessions include intention setting, guided meditation, energy healing (a.k.a. reiki), oracle card reading, and a debrief of the session. Sliding scale $88-222

✨️ Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique. During a reiki session, a practitioner lays their hands on or above you to balance and unblock energy points (also known as chakras) throughout the body. Through Reiki, energy is guided to flow more naturally, which supports the health of your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual being.

✨️ Hilot is an indigenous Filipino healing modality of both body work and energy work. In seated hilot, only the upper body is being worked on. This practice will include tending to the mental, emotional, and spiritual parts of ourselves in addition to working on the upper parts of the body to provide release and healing.

🤎 Jenyse and Josette have been diving more into what Filipino indigenous healing methods are and would love to ask community to help them practice their skills! Please invite a friend to help both twins practice during this session! Hilot sessions are donation based.

Peaceful Warriors: A Healing Circle for Men of Color 🙌🏽✌🏽

The Peaceful Warriors will meet every 3rd Tuesday in the new year. The next circle will be on July 15th from 6 - 7:30pm 🖤

Where: Community Well- 78 Ocean Ave @ Alemany Blvd

By Donation: $10 - $20 Heart Donations (no one turned away for lack of funds)

The Peaceful Warriors was created to offer a safe place for men to connect with their emotions, spirit, and brotherhood. We recognize that the socially imposed ideas of what a "man" should be, are rooted in a toxic, violent male-dominated oppressive system. Only men can heal themselves and reclaim our identity of nurturing healthy masculinity. Through this process, we build a support system rooted in forgiveness, gratitude, acceptance, and LOVE.

All folks of color with male energy are welcome to attend. That includes q***r, straight, two-spirit, trans, gay, and mixed backgrounds are welcome into the circle.

"It felt so good to return to the DCYF Summer conference—there was a comforting sense of familiarity in the air. From the decor to the flow of the day, everything felt like coming home.

I was grateful to represent alongside one of my dearest friends, , as we offered two much-needed workshops on rest and restoration. We could feel just how deeply it landed with folks, especially with our serene setup on a quiet floor and a rooftop seating area that provided respite from the conference's busy-ness.

A group for processing birth experiences

This group is a supportive space for anyone who has been through a birth that was unexpected or traumatic. Heal, reflect, and connect with others who have had similar experiences. You’ll be able to:

- Share your story and process emotions in a safe, understanding space.

- Learn mindfulness tools to support your healing journey.

- Engage with art invitations to grieve and find peace.

This group is for you if you are:

- Processing the emotional and physical aftermath of childbirth.

- Feeling unsettled, overwhelmed, or isolated after your birth experience.

- Wanting to reflect on your birth story in a supportive, empowering environment.

- Healing from a traumatic birth experience (e.g., medical complications, unexpected interventions, or feelings of powerlessness).

- Interested in gaining insight, coping strategies, and emotional tools to move forward.
