Not all Pilates classes are created equal. How do you know if it’s Classical Pilates—the original method—or just another workout class using the name? Here’s what to look for:

✅ No music, no club lights – It’s about focus, not distraction.
✅ Classical equipment – Designed to work with your body as Joe Pilates intended.
✅ Certified teachers – A true Classical Pilates instructor has a minimum of 450 hours of training on ALL classical equipment.
✅ Joe Pilates originally taught only private sessions – If you’re in a group class, make sure it’s no more than 6 people for proper attention and form.
