Last week’s National Night Out on August 5th was a wonderful evening of fellowship and connection. Our teams from Carroll County, Harford County and Howard County came together to help build positive bridges with law enforcement and strengthen community ties. Join us for Mrs. Roper Romp Pub Crawl & Scavenger Hunt
Downtown Westminster | Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 1:00–5:00 PM
Get ready to romp again! After a wildly fun debut last year, the Mrs. Roper Romp Westminster MD is back—and this time, it’s all in support of Springboard Community Services. Picture it: a sea of caftans, red wigs, and retro vibes sweeping through Downtown Westminster as participants bounce from bar to bar, taking on a bingo-style scavenger hunt with spirit (and spirits) in hand.
Local bars and restaurants are invited to join the fun by creating a special themed cocktail for the day and donating 15% of proceeds from those drinks to Springboard. It’s a groovy way to give back—and a whole lot of fun.
🌭🎉 Come out to the Youth Resource Center Cookout at Springboard on Tuesday, August 20th from 4:30–8:30 PM!
Enjoy free food, face painting, music, and a movie screening — all in a fun, kid-friendly atmosphere. We especially welcome young people ages 14–24 to join the fun and learn how to get involved with our Youth Advisory Board.

At Springboard, we honor National by reaffirming our commitment to culturally responsive care.
Together, we’re breaking stigma, increasing access, and amplifying the voices of Black, Indigenous, women, LGBTQ+ and communities of color who deserve equitable mental health support.
SCS was honored to welcome Melinda Smith, Mayor of Manchester, who stopped by Inked With Hope to show her support. Mayor Smith recognizes the critical importance of addressing domestic violence as a community issue and was eager to stand in solidarity with our agency and the survivors we serve.

Inked With Hope was a powerful success! 💜 Every basket raffled, every piece of art sold—and 36 first-time tattoos done in the name of healing and hope. Thanks to your support, we raised nearly $10,000 just from the tattoo shop, with more donations still rolling in.
These funds will go directly toward supporting survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence in our Carroll County Safehouse—providing essential hygiene items, therapy, and the services they need to begin again.

A 501(c) non-profit organization, Springboard has 6 locations in Baltimore City and the surrounding five counties, including multiple counseling offices and two medical adult daycares. We are the on-site mental health provider at the Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) in Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties, with a formal partnership with CACs in Baltimore County. We are also the identified domestic violence provider for Carroll County and West Baltimore County.
Springboard Community Services is licensed to practice as an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic with immediate appointment openings in Baltimore City, Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties. As a licensed clinic, we offer the continuum of mental health care provided by a multidisciplinary team including social workers, counselors, nurse practitioners, case managers and a psychiatrist who specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. We provide a broad array of trauma-informed services for individuals and families along their life course from children through senior citizens.
