Today in Bela's watercolor class, our subject matter was vine ripened tomatoes. And for added inspiration and perspective, Bela's daughter Cynthia brought in some fresh tomatoes from her garden. We can all see that our paintings are improving with each class that Bela teaches!

Our Friends and Family dinner celebrating "Friendships are Ageless" was such a huge success; everyone is still talking about it! It's a great time to get old friends and new together, along with families, for delicious food and conversation, for catching up, and sharing our stories.

Friendships are ageless. We held our Friends and Family monthly dinner and celebrated all of our families, friends, and residents in great style. Our theme was a summer barbecue, held indoors, with delicious barbecue fare and comfort foods. Salads, watermelon, pork ribs, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and vegetables. Followed by cheesecake, peanut butter pie, and sugar free cheesecake parfaits. Music was provided by Mike Rinaldi on keyboard, and friends and families danced the night away. It was a wonderful evening!

Our residents had a great time at Stew Leonard's in Norwalk, visiting the "Little Farm", where they were able to see farm animals including goats, sheep and birds. What a treat!
