April is Autism Awareness Month
As we celebrate Autism Awareness Month this April, we are thrilled to highlight Dr. Faun Powers, MD, a PGY-4 resident at UNLV, as our Member in the Spotlight. Dr. Powers will continue her journey in Nevada post-residency, dedicating part of her career to the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation Ackerman Center.
Plans After Graduation
Dr. Powers shared her plans following graduation, expressing her commitment to serving the Las Vegas community. She will join the faculty at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Her dedication to education and improving patient care is evident in her collaborative spirit.
