Reliance Equipment For over 35 years we've strictly focused on fire pump and aerial repair, providing factory authorized service on all makes and models of fire apparatus.

Reliance Equipment is Located in Vassalboro, Maine we specialize in fire pump and aerial repair for towns around New England. Since 1985 we have proudly brought surperior service to the communities of Maine. Offering a wide selection of parts and factory trained expertise we pride ourselves on providing our customers with a final product they can confidently serve their communities with. Our services include a wide variety of repair knowledge, specializing in the annual pump service, NFPA/ISO Pump Performance Tests with our 13,000 gallon in ground test pit, and NFPA Vacuum Tests for fire department's around the state. Travel to us or we can travel to you and we can service your trucks at your location, sometimes however larger repairs are best performed at our Vassalboro location. As well we welcome any requested repair outside of service and testing. Certainly give us a call and we will address any and all issues with your fire apparatus. We offer a 100% written workmanship warranty and will proudly stand by our work.

These two valves come from one of our departments on the coast. The department installed an additional piece of equipment on their apparatus to operate these...a piece of pipe and brute force.

They are awesome when they work right, but down right frustrating when they don’t function at their most needed time on scene.

With some new center sections, rebuilt drains, new gaskets, and a new handle on one. The two valves are back in service and ready for one handed operation. No more feet on the running board ...(that’s an exaggeration, buttt we’ve all been there).
