Diet culture gets loud this time of year—telling us to shrink, tone, or “get ready” for the season. But here’s the truth:

Your body is already worthy of sunshine, shorts, swimsuits, and rest.
Bodies are not seasonal. Your value doesn’t rise with the temperature or shrink with the scale.

📌 Not all picky eating is harmless.

ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) is often mistaken for picky eating — but it’s much more serious. It can lead to nutritional deficiencies, weight loss, and emotional distress.

Unlike typical picky eating, ARFID doesn’t usually go away with time and may require professional support.

Knowing the difference helps us respond with care and get the right help when needed.

Food is a great source of pleasure and enjoyment when you have a healthy relationship with food. My goal is to help others make peace with food. I advocate for a non-restrictive diet and work to optimize nutrition based on the individual. I believe in an individualized, holistic, whole foods approach to nutrition with balance and moderation.
