Fourth Street Clinic helps individuals experiencing homelessness improve their health. Donate today.
Fourth Street Clinic is more than a safety net to homeless persons, it is a lifeline. Only with your support can we continue to provide needed and critical health care to those men and women and families that are experiencing homelessness. There are NO other health care services available that focus solely on homeless patients. We are fortunate to be in a community that recognizes the important wo
rk being done and are willing to support with a financial contributions. Fourth Street Clinic depends on our staff, board, volunteers, donors, in-kind gifts and more to provide quality comprehensive care to patients. Each year more patients come through the door which means an increased need to rely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, corporations, and institutions for funding.

Exciting news for our community! Fourth Street Clinic’s CEO, Janida Emerson, Medical Director, Van Aston, and Outreach Medical Support Manager, Adam Wride were honored to attend the signing of H.B. 14 Emergency Services Personnel Amendments!
This bill allows licensed emergency medical service personnel to provide care in non-911 situations, reducing emergency calls and helping people receive the care they need.
A huge thank you to Representative Thurston, Senator Lincoln, Governor Cox and Lieutenant Governor Henderson for championing this important legislation! Together, we’re making health care more accessible for all.

A new report shows people experiencing homelessness in Utah are dying at 10 times the rate of the general population. Many of these deaths are preventable. This is the first time data like this has been available.
Between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023, there were 216 deaths identified in people experiencing homelessness in Utah compared to 21,816 deaths in the state’s general population. Data also shows people experiencing homelessness are dying at much younger ages—56 years old on average compared to 72 years of age for the general population.
Happy Staff Appreciation Day!! Fourth Street Clinic is incredibly thankful to have a team of individuals who each understand health care is universal. Regardless of your circumstances you have a right to be healthy. Our organization has grown exponentially in the last year. We want to thank everyone who has made this possible. At Fourth Street Clinic, your health and safety are important to us. We are aware of the concerns in our communities surrounding the coronavirus outbreak and are working with the Utah Department of Health to ensure the safety and security of our patients, staff, volunteers and other stakeholders.
As a precaution, we have implemented clinic-wide guidelines and procedures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Clinical staff created an alternate workflow for screening patients for respiratory symptoms prior to entering the main clinic. Administrative and other staff will also be working remotely. Testing for COVID-19 is currently limited; however, we are working with the state and county to build capacity for testing our patients.
As Fourth Street Clinic staff and providers continue to monitor the rapidly changing situation regarding coronavirus, we will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.
