Christmas in July: Card-Making fun!

Our creative residents got into the holiday spirit a little early with a festive Christmas in July art activity! With lots of color and love they designed beautiful handmade Christmas cards to share joy and cheer.

These heartfelt creations will be saved and mailed out to friends and family later this year. It's never too early to start celebrating the magic of connection.

Residents rolled the dice at our Casino-Themed Happy Hour and the energy was electric! Everyone was feeling lucky-and for a few, it paid off big with some winning scratch-off tickets!

Just when we thought the excitement had peaked, the music kicked up and suddenly a conga line snaked through the crowd, led by some of our most spirited dancers.

Cheers, laughter, and unforgettable memories-now that's how we do Happy Hour!

Today was filled with laughter and love as children came to visit!

We gathered around the piano, playing heartfelt tunes and singing along to sentimental favorites. The room was full of smiles, clapping hands, and beautiful harmony across generations. Thank you for the warm visit and smiles!

Memories At The Museum

This week we were transported into the bold, imaginative world of G.C. Cox during the avant-garde exhibition at the Speed Art Museum, a program thoughtfully designed for the Alzheimer's community.
After our inspiring gallery walk, we gathered to created our own expressive works of art, channeling the shapes, textures and colors we had just explored.
Art opens hearts and minds, and today, it opened a beautiful space for creativity, connection and joy.

Memories at the Museum

We had a beautiful blend of reflection and creativity as we took a slow stroll through the gallery, soaking in this month's highlighted artwork by a Louisville artist: Finn's Flock. After, our residents created their own version of Finn's parrot.

We had fun hand painting our very own flower pots-each one as unique as the artist. Then, we filled them with beautiful blooms to brighten up our shared space. From paintbrushes to petals, it was a day full of smiles, sunshine and hands-on-fun.

Our wonderful group of ladies headed out for a cozy outing to enjoy one of life's simple pleasures-cinnamon rolls! With warm rolls out of the oven and lots of laughter, it was the perfect recipe for a delightful day.

Campus in Color!

Our residents rolled up their sleeves and got their hands in the soil for Campus in Color! From seed to soil and with joy and care, they selected vibrant flowers and some vegetables, planting each one with purpose and pride. Together, they brought our courtyard to life-turning it into a blooming, colorful retreat that reflects the beauty and spirit of our community.
