Join us for the New Runner Workshop at Forge New Ground on June 28. This is a focused, one hour session led by a licensed physical therapist and running rehab specialist.

This workshop is designed to help new runners build a safe, strong, and sustainable foundation. We’ll cover:
✔️ How to begin running
✔️ Stretching and mobility techniques
✔️ Common running injuries and prevention
✔️ Strength training specific to runners
✔️ Fueling and recovery strategies

Just finished Run in the Sun with the . Let’s talk recovery.
Your body put it work and now it’s your turn to take care of it. What you do in the next few hours can make a big difference in how you feel tomorrow.

Here are a few simple tips to help you recover well after your 5K:

• Hydrate: You can lose up to 16–32 oz of water per mile from sweat. Replenish with water and electrolytes to stay balanced.
• Refuel: Within 30–60 minutes post-race, grab a snack with carbs + protein to support muscle repair.
• Stretch + Move: Light stretching and mobility work can reduce soreness and improve circulation.
• Rest: Don’t skip rest! Your body needs time to rebuild and come back stronger.
