Meet Jenna! She is an intern with Keystone and is accepting new patients!
I'm Jenna Christensen, a dedicated and passionate professional in the field of psychology. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2013, and I am currently pursuing my Master's degree at MSU Billings, further expanding my knowledge and expertise.
My theoretical foundation primarily rests on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I've also integrated techniques from diverse therapeutic modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy into my practice. This multidimensional approach allows me to tailor my therapeutic strategies to the unique needs of each client, ensuring a holistic and personalized approach to their mental health.
One of the distinctive aspects of my therapeutic approach is the incorporation of artistic mediums as a means of self-expression and healing. I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of art, and I actively encourage my clients to utilize various creative outlets to articulate their thoughts and emotions. Over the course of my career, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact of art in facilitating the therapeutic process, aiding in emotional healing, and fostering personal growth.
Beyond my professional endeavors, my profound passion for the arts extends to my personal life. My explorations in various creative domains, including painting, drawing, and graphic design, continually enrich my artistic sensibilities. This personal connection with the arts equips me with a unique perspective that I bring to bear on the challenges and tasks I encounter as a therapist. It enhances my ability to connect with clients on a deeper level and helps me approach their concerns with a heightened sense of creativity and empathy.
I am committed to fostering healing, promoting self-expression, and nurturing personal growth in my clients through an innovative and holistic approach to therapy. My journey as a therapist is not just a career but a profound and rewarding vocation, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of those I have the privilege to serve.
