Winter Sun Wellness
I have developed my own petroleum-free, organic vegetable oil bases and use a unique process that gently extracts the healing properties from herbs with low temperatures and extended steeping times. I grow organic herbs and wild craft locally whenever possible; if I need to buy herbs I always search out organic growers, or order from certified organic businesses. I buy most of my herbs and vegetable oils through Mountain Rose Herbs, a Certified Organic and Fair Trade Company, in Eugene, Oregon, (www.mountainroseherbs.com). In 2002 I started the DBA (doing business as) Winter Sun Healing. My product line began as Soulstice Soap and then Soulstice Sundries, as more products were created through study and inspiration, usually in response to requests for “something to fix this” from friends or family. The products created work consistently for most people and the demand continues to grow. These products are now produced under the Winter Sun Wellness label.
