OUR STORY
When veteran Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Joseph Purita decided that regenerative medicine was the future of treating orthopedic injuries, the Institute of Regenerative Medicine was born. The well-known physician in the south Florida area grew tired of the moderately positive outcomes the outdated standard surgical interventions provided, along with the long-term pain his patients contended with, and saw regenerative treatments such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), and stem cell treatments providing patients with a better overall experience. For him, it was a no-brainer to shift his model of care to a regenerative medicine one.
Before the medical community had accepted the fact that regenerative procedures were less risky, less invasive, and frequently had more positive outcomes, Dr. Joseph Purita had performed more than 9,000 of these procedures at the center of medical excellence where he serves as medical director, in Boca Raton, Florida: Institute of Regenerative Medicine.
Today’s regenerative medical community has seen an influx of providers who simply do not have the level of experience and expertise available at the Institute of Regenerative Medicine. Patients have every right to seek out medical care for themselves and their loved ones that is science and efficacy based, but the overwhelming information that they now find can be confusing.
The Institute of Regenerative Medicine has set itself apart, by operating ahead-of-the-pack, with its trusted professionals who have in-arguably the most appropriate education and experience to treat orthopedic injuries, as well as provide other regenerative modalities that have been proven effective and exist well within the modern standard of care and FDA/US guidelines and laws.
