At Chill + Heal Cryotherapy Spa, our goal is to apply effective, natural temperature therapy and other services to restore your body and optimize performance. Whole Body Cryotherapy is a process of cooling a persons skin down to as close to 32 degrees Fahrenheit as possible in a 2-3 minute period. This is done by surrounding the body with air at temperatures varying anywhere from negative -90C to -120C (-184F). During this fast cooling process, the body enters temporarily into “survival mode” triggering the body’s natural healing mechanisms as though it were freezing. Blood will then be sent to the body’s core in order to become warmed and become highly oxygenated. This will trigger a protective response that releases adrenaline, endorphins and other hormones into your body. This results in many beneficial effects including pain relief, increased blood circulation, increased collagen production, reduction of inflammation & swelling, increased weight loss & caloric burn and several other positive effects.

At Chill+Heal Cryotherapy Spa we also offer additional services, such as localized spot treatments. These local cryotherapy treatments are used to really target a troubled spot and help decrease inflammation and tenderness (such as swelling and tendonitis) in a matter of minutes.

We also offer NormaTec Compression Therapy for the legs, arms, and for the hips and lower back. Compression therapy is used to help break up any lymph or lactic acid buildup and helps with the reduction of swelling. Clients have also stated they’ve noticed a difference in cellulite.

In addition to these services, we also offer The Shape Pod, an Infrared bed that is used to improve overall health and wellbeing by removing toxins, brightening the skin, improving weight loss, and promoting relaxation.
