Happy 6-week graduation Susanna! Her “big” brother’s antics kept the prenatal and postpartum visits playful 🤩

This little one was born in the predawn hours in the Lily Room tub. Two Alma Babies in 17 months! What a joy to get to spend so much time with this dear family ❤️

✨ ALMA IS HIRING AGAIN

🧹 General Housekeeping & Maintenance
Although Alma is a natural beauty-she needs a lot of support to keep clean, safe, and within the health guidelines set by the state and our accreditation body.

🔍 Job entails:
* Deep cleaning birth center, clinic and courtyard
* ”Room flips” after a family discharges
* Stocking and inventory
* Equipment cleaning & maintenance (sterilizing in autoclave)
* Heaps of laundry
* 20+/- hours a week depending on how many babies are born.
* Flexible hours ~nights/weekends/during week
* Hourly pay starting at 20/hr
* Must live near Alma (1608 SE Ankeny St Portland) to come to building 3-4 times per week
* Must love to clean and have a sense of order/organization
* Alma will provide HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens & other trainings

Experience with medical cleaning preferred.

*Fitness includes ability to carry 20 lbs, stair climbing and hours on your feet (you get your steps in)!

💡Perfect part time opportunity for a mostly-stay-at-home parent!

23 Weeks Pregnant!
What does it feel like? Lots of fluttery kicks, a growing bump, and frequent trips to the bathroom thanks to that heavy uterus pressing on the bladder. 😅

At this visit, we cover:
✨ Nourishing foods to support you and baby
🩺 Upcoming lab work (gestational diabetes & anemia screening)
🤰 Childbirth education + doula support options
✨ And yes, a check-in on how you’re feeling—and how you’re pooing (it matters!)

So much gratitude to this family for sharing the day they met their daughter in the Lilly Room. ❤️🪷

Delilah Jo arrived at 4:44 in April the 4th month!
Her Mama was prepared and determined! Her Papa was steadfast support! Sivan Dirks was her Doula.

Besides the alignment of the number 4, further magic is what appears to be orbs 💫when baby is on the scale.
We love science but who doesn’t also love a bit of magic?

The twins were in awe seeing their baby brother swiftly enter the world! Midwife, Janelle included the girls in the newborn physical exam—a rich learning opportunity.
There was so much love in the Lilly Room when Bellamy met his family. Thank you to this family for sharing these precious first photos ❤️

Bye Bye Bellamy-we’re going to miss your sweet face! 👋

After a walk around the block in labor, he came fast and furious (Turbo Charged birth)! His Mama rocked it. Bellamy means “handsome friend”-we think his name suits him!

Need plans for the family this weekend? is hosting a free family festival at Topaz farms on Saturday. There will be live musical performances, games and more.
