👨‍👩‍👧 September is NATIONAL KINSHIP CARE MONTH 💜

Across the U.S., more than 2.5 million children are growing up in kinship families—nurtured by grandparents, relatives, and close family friends who step in when parents cannot. These caregivers offer love, stability, and a sense of belonging, often without the support they deserve.

At AAASWFL, we recognize the strength and sacrifice of grandfamilies. That’s why we offer dedicated GRANDPARENT SUPPORT SERVICES https://aaaswfl.org/grandparent-support-services/ from child care and counseling to transportation, legal assistance and more.

Let’s honor family caregivers by listening, learning and building stronger support systems together.
