Congratulations to Jordan on graduating from our Recreation Therapy program! Throughout her time in the program, Jordan worked hard on building her self-confidence, strengthening her problem-solving abilities, and developing important life skills. Recreation Therapy provided her with a safe and supportive space to explore her creativity and hobbies, and to use them as effective coping skills in her daily life.

We are so proud of Jordan’s growth and wish her all the best as she continues her journey!

March is Reading Month! Here at LTS we want to share some of our therapists' favorite books to use in sessions as well as read on their own time.

First, we are sharing a favorite from the Ninja Lifehacks Series: Ninjas Have Feelings by Mary Nhin. This book is used in our pediatric program as a way to help learn about and how to identify feelings. The colorful images, easy to comprehend language, and exciting characters make this a fan favorite for leisure education, emotional regulation, and more. Share with someone you think may enjoy this book!
