Meet In Bloom's newest therapist, Tayler Rowe!

"Many moms are overwhelmed and it's really hard for them to give themselves credit for all they accomplish. My passion is to help moms tap into their confidence and become aware of how amazing they really are."

Tayler is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a masters from West Virginia University. She enjoys reading, adventures, and spending time with her family (and two French Bulldogs).

We are proud and excited to announce that our clinicians have been trained and registered as Circle of Security Parenting Facilitators! Circle of Security Parenting uses organizational framework to help bring coherence to parent/child relationships. “Baby Blues” is a common term to describe the feelings of sadness, worry, and fatigue that are experienced by 80% of women after childbirth. For most moms, these feelings only last a week or two. But what if these feelings continue to persist and increase over time?

For 15% of moms, they do persist and many moms start to get these feelings during pregnancy as well. If this sounds familiar, “Baby Blues” may not be the case.

Perinatal and postpartum depression is common among moms and can occur for many reasons. Hormone levels (estrogen and progesterone) change very fast in pregnancy and after childbirth, which can also change the chemicals in your brain. Hello mood swings and irritability!
