As a mental health consultant and community advocate, I had the honor of speaking at the U.S. Department of Justice on the critical intersection of mental health and workplace culture. The presentation emphasized that when equity is absent, connection falters, humanity is compromised, and the overall well-being of an organization suffers. Especially in today’s climate of political and social uncertainty, I challenge leaders to lean into compassion, prioritize inclusion, and embrace the radical but necessary act of caring for one another in every professional space.
