Jesus hosted IRL events. So should I.

But last week, Palm Sunday reminded me: the same crowds shouting “Hosanna” were shouting “Crucify” by Friday.

So what kept Him from chasing applause?

He knew who He was building for. Not the crowd. The few who’d stay when the hype faded.

Today, ARISE News TV aired a feature on the Handshake Summit at UN CSW70. I watched excited. Then laughed.

Because while the cameras rolled on the red carpet and 200+ people in the room…

…what they didn’t show was the chase.

Frantic calls for funds. Quiet heroes who gave complimentary support. Credit card loans I’m still paying off. The no-sponsorship reality of a poor orphan who refused to stay invisible.

And the prayer I whispered on my Wyndham hotel floor the night before:
“Lord, if only one person shows up, I’ll still serve them.”

Next morning, I navigated NJ Transit through Times Square with luggage and a knot in my stomach.

Then a pregnant stranger saw me struggling, grabbed my bag, and walked me to the right platform.

She didn’t know she was carrying the miracle that got me to the UN on time.

Sound familiar?

Jesus started with 12. I started with a train delay, a hotel floor, and a woman who showed up when I had nothing left.

Now we’re counting down to Easter. And between now and then, I’m doing something resurrection-level crazy:

Hosting the Handshake Summit: Finance + Food Edition — an official side event of the World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings in DC.

Same playbook:
→ Small room. Big outcomes.
→ Investors writing real checks.
→ Founders leaving with more than a business card.

Here’s the tea ☕️ I didn’t learn this from a LinkedIn course. I learned it from a carpenter who washed feet, walked 7 miles with grieving strangers, and cooked breakfast on a beach for friends who failed Him.

“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.”

So whether it’s a UN summit or a World Bank side event, my job is the same:
Make sure people have water. Listen before I talk. Let restoration happen around a table — not just on a stage.

Next post would be:

“A lot of people have been asking me to teach them how to build websites with just prompts and earn big. I’ll be taking just 15 people in a 2 days private class. Secure your seat now.”

And boom, that’s how the money is made.

Not necessarily from building websites.

But from your desperation to cash out fast.

Here’s the part they won’t tell you:

They’re not always trying to help you grow.

They just want to turn you into a cash cow.

They sell you hope, not reality.

But I’ll tell you the truth:
Tech is not a ponzi scheme. It’s not a shortcut. It’s not a hustle.

It’s a proper field. It requires real learning, time, and consistency.

Yes, AI is powerful and have made life easier.

But even AI needs a skilled hand behind it.

If you don’t understand the work, you’ll still be lost.

No tool can save you from ignorance.

Now let me ask you:

You used 4–6 years chasing a degree you’re not even using.

You showed up to class. Sat through boring lectures. Took exams.

Why can’t you give just 1–2 years of focused learning to a skill that can actually open doors?

If you give tech or any skill you're looking at venturing into that kind of energy, it will pay you back.

But only if you’re honest with yourself and ready to grow.

So stop falling for sugar-coated posts.
Stop looking for fast cash.

And please, stop letting people milk you while hiding the real process.

Tech is not for the lazy. It rewards effort, not excitement.

Yes, I said it.
And some of you might hate this post.
But I’m pouring this Tuesday Tea regardless.

Here’s the truth:
Too many creators focus on virality before they have value.
They chase followers before crafting a clear offer.
They obsess over reach when they haven’t built any real relationships.
And it’s costing them money—real, life-changing, brand-partnering, client-winning money.

Want the uncomfortable tea?
That trending reel won’t feed you unless it leads somewhere.
That follower count won’t sponsor you unless it connects to something sellable.

That aesthetic carousel won’t convert if there’s no story or solution tied to it.

Here’s how I flipped it:
I stopped chasing algorithms and started designing offers
I built a waitlist before I hit 10K
I pitched brands while others were still tweaking their bio
I posted for my community, not for applause

And you know what happened?
I booked five figures with under 5,000 followers.
Because clarity converts. Authenticity attracts. And strategy scales.

If you’re stuck in the content loop—creating non-stop and still broke—pause. Breathe. Pivot.

Your next piece of content shouldn’t just get likes.
