Day 14: MeaningfulWorld Mission Uganda 🇺🇬 has returned. Dr. Ani
We are filled with heartfelt gratitude to connect with our brothers and sisters in Uganda.
We love and appreciate their indomitable spirit of survival.
We were in owe & disbelief witnessing their big smiles and heartfelt faith in God!
Everyday we were questioning ourselves how could they feel grateful without having running water, electricity, WiFi, sewage, trash removal, food to eat, and other comforting necessities?
We were humbled daily.
With tears in our eyes, we embraced them in our hearts; we shared what we had, and most of all raised consciousness for the need to extend a loving hand to our sisters especially, who felt unsafe in their own 4sq feet rooms they called home that they shared with their 6-8 children.
For those without doors we installed doors of hope, security, safety, and self protection from predators.
For those with passion to learn, we eased their burden by providing their tuition.
For those hungry, we offered rice to feed & clothing to wear.
For those in need of emotional healing we offered Flower Essences, to spray away their miseries.
For those with a passion to read we offered our books.
Most of all we offered our unconditional love, by hugging them, keeping them close to our hearts.
We told them we left our comfort, traveled for almost 3 days to give them empathy;
Because they are special.
Yes, we returned physically exhausted, emotionally drained but spiritually enriched and energized.
It was uplifting to hear that they embraced Meaningful World motto, which was echoed daily:
When one helps another, BOTH become stronger!
Could you give us a helping hand to continue our Divine work?
