In honor of Black History Month PDDBM presents their annual PDDBM Fashion Show that will feature uplifting and inspiring designs for African Americans.

The purpose of the fashion show is to bring awareness and educational exposure to African Americans who have contributed significantly to the development of the fashion industry in the United States since the 1860s. This event will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m! Come check it out!

10 Days of Fall Prevention - Technology That Helps
On day 8 of our 10 days of fall prevention, let’s discuss technology. Did you know that according to the CDC, the chance of falling increases with age? Having a phone that is easily accessible can help to keep you safe in the event of a fall. If possible, keep a mobile phone close to your sitting areas. Other technology that can help keep you safe are medical alert devices, smart watches, AI assistants, and even flashlights. Being able to contact help is essential to your safety.
