This is actually very common! I experienced this with all three of my births personally, but I also see it in clients. Sometimes you just need a moment to adjust. And it is important to be kind and gentle as you call a birthing person back into their body so they can meet their baby ❤️

Hi! I’m Chelseah. I am a mama of three beautiful boys. I reside in beautiful Floyd County, VA but I travel to surrounding areas for most of my clients. I take great interest in holistic wellness including weight lifting, conditioning, outdoor activities and herbal medicine and supplementation. This kind of goes hand in hand with my Doula work. I have been a practicing Birth Doula since 2015. I am experienced with assisting in hospital, birth center and homebirth settings. It is my goal to help every client I work with achieve a safe, informed, empowered and courageous birth experience.

Hello there to all my pregnant folks! I have a question: what is holding you back from hiring a doula? Is it cost? Or is it something else? Your answer will not hurt my feelings.. I am looking at becoming a Medicaid provider… just doing my research 😉
