As our IT/Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our online presence and enhancing patient experiences. Your responsibilities will include managing email and social media marketing, patient care coordination, and more! πŸš€

Key Responsibilities:
πŸ“§ Email and Social Media Marketing: Craft engaging content, connect with our community, and promote our services across various platforms.
🀝 Patient Care Coordination: Ensure our pregnant and postpartum clients receive top-notch care by coordinating appointments, answering queries, and providing support.
🌐 IT Support: Keep our digital systems running smoothly, troubleshoot technical issues, and explore innovative solutions to enhance our services.

At the Empowered Postpartum Workshop: CrossFit Edition, you will be led by Dr. Melissa Woo, PT, DPT and Kari Lepore, PTA, CF-L1 through testing, exercises & strategies designed specifically to identify weaknesses & imbalances that are preventing you from getting back to CrossFit or your normal exercise routine after baby. πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ

You are going though A LOT of physical, hormonal and emotional changes during pregnancy and that puts A LOT of stress on your pelvic floor! 😩

➑️ Your uterus and baby are growing and adding extra downward pressure on your pelvic floor.
➑️ Hormonal changes allow your hips to expands, which pulls on your pelvic floor
➑️ We carry a lot of our emotional stress in our muscles, including our pelvic floor!

When seeing a pelvic floor therapist during pregnancy, you can work several techniques to avoid issues in the postpartum:
βœ… Learning to relax the pelvic floor to reduce tension and help in birthing.
βœ… Learning control of the pelvic floor muscles to contract as needed to avoid leaking urine.
βœ… Stretches to help lengthen the pelvic to avoid painful insertion.
βœ… Manual techniques to release tension or to minimize tearing during birth.

While some may disagree, we stand by this statement. As moms, we are supposed to show up for our families in many different roles: Mom, chef, chauffeur, event planner, doctor, comforter, money maker, team mom, entertainer, teacher, coach and whatever else the situation calls for. πŸ‘©β€πŸΌπŸ‘©β€πŸ³πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»πŸ‘©β€βš•οΈπŸ‘©β€πŸ’ΌπŸ‘©β€πŸ«πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈ But how can we be our best for our family if we are neglecting ourselves?

Have you ever been on a plane? ✈️ You know how the safety video tells us that if the oxygen masks drop down, to put yours on first before helping the person next to you? That’s because you are no good to anyone if you are passed out. Same goes for you as a mom. If you are worn out and not feeling yourself, it’s okay to do something for yourself. Take some time to get that coffee β˜•οΈ, get yourself to the gym πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ, read a book πŸ“–, get a massage πŸ’†β€β™€οΈ, do whatever you need to do to feel more like yourself.
