According to the American Cancer Society, early prostate cancer usually causes no symptoms. When symptoms do occur, they may include:
➡️Problems urinating, such as a weak stream or frequent urination (especially at night)
➡️Blood in the urine or semen
Advanced prostate cancer means it has grown larger or spread to other areas. Signs and symptoms may include:
➡️Trouble getting an er****on (ED)
➡️Pain in the hips, back, chest, or bones where cancer has spread
➡️Weakness or numbness in the legs or feet, or loss of bladder/bowel control from cancer pressing on the spine
➡️Weight loss
➡️Feeling very tired
This Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, we encourage men to know the signs, talk with their doctors, and stay proactive about screenings. Early detection saves lives.
