Fun facts about me 😝

⭐️ I’m a nerd who likes math, science, dungeons and dragons, and puzzles.

⭐️ I learn just as much from patients as they learn from me.

⭐️ I believe in a power greater than myself that unifies all living beings. God shows up how people need him to. God works through us and inside of us if we stay connected and realize that we were put here to be a part of this world. Therefore, we need to stay connected, when we don’t we will be reminded with symptoms.

⭐️ One of my favorite characters is William Wallace in Braveheart. Intelligent fighter who uses strategy over force. Believes passionately in a cause and will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. Knows how to reach out to others to gain their support.

⭐ ️ Marriage is a partnership and each partner has a duty to lovingly support each other, having kids is a natural extension of that. A unified structure of guidelines for kids and teaching them how to live a healthy life is a parent’s primary job.

⭐️ I can’t stand people who say one thing and do another.

⭐️ I have always been inspired by Jesus, the man. A man who recognized how his relationship with God could help him help others…all others.

⭐️ Chiropractic education opened the door to the idea that medicine doesn’t have all of the answers. I learned that many things could be fixed by the body and that there are tests and treatments that are more sensitive and powerful than what we can find in a bottle or laboratory. Functional health brought me back to identifying clinically relevant information that supported the work.

⭐️ Inconsiderate actions and people really bother me.

⭐️ I got cut from the UCI soccer team because I didn’t prepare. Preparation and mentorship are necessary to be ready for success.

⭐️ I will never understand why studying the negative impact of Vaccines continues to catch a blind eye by MDs. How can you weigh risk vs benefits, if the risks aren’t studied?

⭐️ Society (parents, school, doctors) doesn’t teach us how to care for our bodies, rather it teaches us how to fit into the system to be good consumers.

2 Hidden dangers with Cardio that Sabotage Your Energy & put your health at risk.

Few people would knowingly go for a run in winter clothes in 110 degree heat, the risk of a stroke, heat stroke or passing out is clear.

But that’s what’s happening each time women with thyroid problems spend hours on the treadmill or step machine because their bodies are already under stress that has not been cared for.

Here are 2 “invisible threats” to know about Cardio for women with thyroid problems:

✅ Increased risk of atrial fibrillation & stroke if your medication is not spot on. If you are struggling with low energy and your doctor has been adjusting your medication…you may have an increased risk of a stroke.

✅ Cardio can result in lower T4 and TSH. If your doctor is not aware of this they may adjust your medication which can increase your risk for heart problems.

4 Secret Causes of Low Energy I discovered that medication can’t fix.

When I first began my practice, I tried everything to help women with hypothyroidism and low energy.

It was a struggle, because despite normal lab tests they still experienced weight problems, low energy, hair loss, insomnia, and brain fog…despite taking their medication as prescribed.

That was until I discovered these 4 odd secret causes that completely transformed how I was able to help them feel better.

Before discovering these secrets, I was researching different supplements, therapies, and genetic SNPs. I tried everything from intermittent fasting to special workouts, but nothing worked to provide lasting results.

But after identifying which of these secret causes was impacting their health, I was able to help them lose weight, stop hair loss, improve energy, sleep, and clear their brain fog.

Eating only organic food & making 90% of all of our food from scratch is one of the most rewarding things in life.
But eating organic and making our food from scratch makes it hard for friends to host us at events…so we sometimes get left off the guest list.
I run a successful healing Program for Thyroid patients, live a great quality of life, and I have a 95% success rate in helping women increase energy and lose weight.
But if I’m being honest, I’m not the world’s best at compromising on activities that take years off of my life or that of my kids.
Let me explain…
Over the years, I’ve realized that there are 3 things about me as a Father.
First, I don't have a lot of patience for people not taking responsibility for their health, and not just with my kids, but with people in general. That's something I'm working on.
Number two is I have very high expectation of myself and others,
and I can see how that may not be the best thing for my kids and relationship with our friends. I'm really trying to work on being more tolerant. That's a big lesson for me.
Third, if I’m being 100% honest, I'm a better at relaxing and being playful when I’ve planned my meals and prepared them in advance. What I mean by that is, if I'm not prepared, I'd probably ruin a trip for my family and myself.
When I am prepared, it fundamentally changes who I am as a person.
When my meals are prepared I can be playful, relaxed, and enjoy family time. I'm more present, feel better, and I’m more productive.

Have you ever had someone say to you, “Why bother pushing so hard? You don’t need to. You’re good.”

I get asked that a lot when it comes to improving energy levels.

It's like being starting at the bottom of the mountain and not knowing which path to take - every time you try to move up the mountain, if you’re not careful, you could get lost. Or find an impassable trail.

But here's the thing - if we don’t pursue the adventure, we're not truly living.

We were not put on this planet to just exist.

We are here to grow and do big things.

And when it comes to our health, we can't just settle for being 'good enough'.

We don't stagnate.

Life is always moving, always getting better.

And so are we.

I have a massive desire to have the energy to enjoy life and help others do the same.

But that won't happen if we just sit back and wait for things to come to us.

That's why I avoid the 4 foods that sabotage weight loss, because they sabotage abundant energy as well. Even when it's easier to eat pre-made food or eat at a restaurant.

Because it's not just about reaching the top of the mountain - it's about WHO you become in the process.

We weren't meant to just survive.

We were meant to thrive.

And that means pushing ourselves to be the best we can be, even when it's hard.

It's noble to pursue better health, not just for the physical benefits, but for who we become in the process.

The regret of not trying is a pain that eats away at the soul. That's why I refuse to settle for just feeling 'okay'.

4 Foods that PREVENT Weight Loss

When I first started helping women with weight loss, I discovered that many of them also suffered with low energy and hypothyroidism.

So, despite their other doctors telling them to exercise more and eat less, they could not lose weight, continued to suffer with low energy, and felt horrible.

The connection between low energy, hypothyroidism, and an inability to lose weight left many of my female patients at a loss of how to feel better.

That was until I discovered these 4 foods that prevent weight loss, cause low energy, and can make thyroid symptoms worse.

Before discovering these 4 foods, these women continued to struggle with their weight and energy. But, nothing helped.

But once they eliminated these 4 foods, they were able to lose weight and increase energy. And the best part is that many people don’t know about these foods and can make a change today to begin to feel better.

So, here’s the list:

✅ Wheat

The idea that wheat and gluten is only a problem for people with celiac is sadly untrue. For many women, eating wheat causes an immune reaction that results in inflammation. Inflammation = Swelling = Weight Gain. Reducing inflammation, reduces swelling and allows for weight loss.

✅ Dairy

The problem is commonly with the proteins (like casein, butyrophilin, etc). Similar to wheat, dairy is a common initiator of inflammation. Remember: Inflammation = Swelling = Weight Gain. Reducing inflammation, reduces swelling and allows for weight loss.

✅ Corn

Not only does corn increase our blood sugar, which causes inflammation over time, but most non-organic corn is GMO.

✅ Soy

Soy is in so many food-like products, that if you are not on the lookout…you’re probably eating it. Much of it is GMO. That means the increased herbicide residues can negatively affect reproduction, thyroid health, menstruation, weight loss and energy.

Ditch these 4 foods to lose weight and improve energy.

Pool water problem solves Hypothyroid & Low Energy Mystery

Adding more chlorine, acid, or other chemicals to a pool to clean it when the filters are dirty will not solve the problem.

Chasing symptoms with changing medication dosage without addressing how the body uses and transports hormones will not solve those problems either.
