With the Artemis II mission making history this week—following the crew's successful moon flyby and splashdown—our residents were feeling inspired to reach for the stars! 🌕

We took an incredible trip to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force to explore the wonders of flight and space. Our residents had a blast touring the massive galleries, seeing legendary aircraft up close, and even getting into the spirit by posing in a space suit! 👨‍🚀👩‍🚀

It was a day filled with awe, history, and a lot of "out-of-this-world" smiles.

About the Museum:
Located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force is the world’s oldest and largest military aviation museum. It features more than 360 aerospace vehicles and missiles across 19 acres of indoor exhibit space, chronicling everything from the Wright brothers to modern space exploration. ✈️

🧩 Double the Fun for National Scrabble Day at The Coventry!

Yesterday, we celebrated by honoring one of the most legendary games of all time! Our residents gathered for some friendly competition, showing off their impressive vocabularies and "spelling out" a lot of fun. 🔡

But we didn't stop at the game board! We also got a little creative and used those iconic wooden tiles for a special Scrabble craft activity. It was a wonderful way to combine brainpower with a bit of artistic flair!

Whether we were hunting for a triple-word score or crafting something unique, it was a day filled with laughter and great conversation.🧩

🥁 Last week, we welcomed back Nancy Hughes Music, a familiar and much-loved performer in our community. She joined our weekly drum circle, where residents had the chance to accompany her using the rhythms and beats they’ve been practicing (and perfecting!) over the past year.

The result was a wonderful collaboration filled with music, energy, and plenty of smiles. It was such a fun and rewarding way to showcase everyone’s progress — and enjoy making music together!🎶

🥁 Our community is feeling the rhythm! Residents love the energy of our Cardio Drumming class. This week we had a full room, filled with upbeat tunes, great movement, and plenty of smiles all around.

It’s a fun way to stay active, keep the beat, and enjoy time together — and the enthusiasm in the room says it all! 🎶

🌞⛳ The beautiful weather brought our residents out to the patio for some fun mini-golf games, and it was a hit! Everyone enjoyed spending time outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

The festive Easter-themed backdrop added an extra touch of springtime charm, making the activity even more special.

🎶 We were thrilled to welcome the talented Kyle Eldridge for happy hour, and our residents absolutely loved it! His performance had everyone smiling, tapping along, and enjoying the lively atmosphere.

Kyle is a country and western singer-songwriter and highly regarded guitarist known for his classic style, blending traditional picking techniques with western swing and vintage country sounds.

It was a wonderful afternoon of music and community! 🎵 🎸

Our community gathered for another wonderful night of Storytellers, where residents share personal experiences and life journeys with one another.

This month, Jan H. shared her family’s story of adopting a child from Russia — a heartfelt and powerful experience that sparked thoughtful conversation throughout the room.

Evenings like these bring people together in a special way, creating connection through shared stories and meaningful dialogue. We’re already looking forward to the next Storytellers gathering!
