Sojourn Yoga Yoga studio offering a variety of classes for all levels of interest & ability! Drexel Hill, PA Yoga is simply union. Union of mind, body, and spirit.

Sojourn is a temporary stay, a journey that allows an end to unfold creating space for a new beginning. The time spent on your mat is temporary, a sojourn. Once you step off your mat and into your daily activities, the possibilities of the practice begin. The physical benefits affect our state of being; you may feel less stressed, more flexible, strong, confident or inquisitive. The affect is different for each individual and our bodies are ever changing; as we sojourn through those changes and awakenings, we find many layers. The practice of yoga gives us the ability to explore these layers and awaken awareness.

We are SO excited to announce we are hosting our first local retreat in March with guest presenter, Greg Capitolo from !

A deeply satisfying spiritual practice rests on the cornerstones of self-effort, self-study, and trustful surrender. All three appear in several yogic texts as essential ingredients to cultivate a balanced approach to yoga practice, while staying actively engaged in our worldly duties.

During our retreat, we will:

- Explore these three pillars of practice in your own life and understand why the Yoga Sutra describes them as a framework for a complete practice.

- Use asana and pranayama practices to cultivate physical vitality and mental clarity to transform self-limiting actions and thought patterns that keep us from personal growth and experiencing the best of ourselves.

- Study selected readings from the Yoga Sutra and Bhagavad Gita that provide practical tips and inspiration to enhance the quality of our yoga and meditation practice.

- Discuss and reflect on how to transform our vocation, duties, and relationships as offerings to the Divine within us and others.

Sunday, March 22nd 8:30am-12:00pm
