As a blogger, a mother of two and with a full-time career one of the things I’m often asked is
"How on earth did you find the time to start all this?”

For as long as I can remember, I've loved to share my passions, peeves, and points of view with others around me. Raising Ralphie has added immense value to my life, and I love having the chance to share my passions, challenges raising an autistic

son and wonderings with my loyal readers. Raising Ralph will have some exciting news to share in the upcoming months!

June 11th is more than just a date on the calendar—it is the day I became a mother. The day my world shifted in the most beautiful, unexpected, and life-changing way. Today, my son Ralph turns 15, and we celebrate not just the passing of time, but the incredible journey of love, resilience, and joy we’ve shared together.

From the moment Ralph entered the world, he became the center of mine. His presence brought with it lessons I never knew I needed—how to be compassionate, how to see the world through a lens of empathy, and how to advocate fiercely for inclusion. Ralph has taught me that happiness isn’t measured by milestones or norms, but by the light you bring into the lives of others.

It hasn’t always been easy. Ralph has faced his share of challenges—navigating life on the autism spectrum, dealing with epilepsy, and facing a world that doesn’t always understand him. But each morning, he wakes up with joy radiating from his spirit. His laugh, his hugs, his endless requests for kisses—they are constant reminders of what truly matters.

There are days when life feels overwhelming, when the weight of the world creeps in. And then I look at Ralph—smiling, loving, living—and I ask myself, “Why am I down, when I have so much to be thankful for?” Ralph is my daily reminder to show up, to give my best, and to never stop reaching for joy, no matter the circumstance.

To know Ralph is to love him. He has this magical way of touching lives, of making people feel seen and loved just as they are. His laughter is contagious, his smile lights up rooms, and his heart is as big as they come. He is, quite simply, unforgettable.

I will forever be grateful to God for choosing me to be Ralph’s mother—a title that is my greatest honor. Today, we celebrate our beautiful boy. My son. My sunshine. Our special gift to this world.

Happy Birthday, Ralph. You are loved beyond words, and we are all better because of you.

A Gift of Joy: Supporting Autism Families This Holiday Season
The holidays are a time for joy, connection, and warmth—a season to celebrate the love of family and community. But for many families in the autism community, the season also brings unique challenges. Everyday expenses, therapy costs, and specialized care can make it difficult to prioritize holiday meals and traditions.
This year, we are on a mission to change that. With your help, we aim to raise $8,000 to provide grocery store gift cards to families in our autism community. These gift cards will ensure that parents don’t have to choose between essential expenses and creating a memorable holiday for their children.
Imagine the relief of a parent who can fill their table with food that meets their child’s dietary needs. Picture the joy of a family sharing a warm meal, knowing their community supports them. Your contribution—whether it’s $5, $50, or $500—can make that happen.
Every dollar matters. No donation is too small to bring light and hope to families who need it most. Together, we can ensure these families experience the magic of the season without the weight of financial stress.
Your generosity can help us create a ripple of compassion, showing our autism families that they are seen, valued, and celebrated. Will you join us in making a difference this holiday season?
Donate today and help us gift joy, one family at a time.
Thank you for being a part of this meaningful journey. Together, we can create a holiday season filled with warmth, love, and hope.

***Long Appreciation Post***
13 years ago, I was given what I perceived as the worst news of my entire life. My son was on the autism spectrum. Little did I know this wild journey would help me discover so many things about life, love, the strength, and courage that lies within all of us. This loveable, smart, special young boy has given all of our lives such a rich purpose. I will admit I was so scared of what life would be like with him, now I can not imagine a 🌎 world without him.

Autism is never the end it is the beginning of seeing the world 🌎 so differently. It focuses on what truly matters and celebrates the 🏆 🍾 progress, big or small. There will be tough days ahead, but the joy he brings to our family outweighs the bad. Celebrate Autism Acceptance Month by supporting programs and nonprofits who support this community ❤️. I advocate for my son and those who can not advocate for themselves! 🥰💙 Ralph's Mom
