What’s sweeter than donuts on Valentine’s Day?? 🍩💕
A Patriot’s Promise clinic WITH donuts on Valentine’s Day AND having a sweet husband participant join us!!!
Our wonderful instructor Brooke lead the Patriot’s Promise clinic this past weekend, and her own valentine veteran husband came out to see what this awesome experience is all about! (and Brooke is also Teddy’s mom, so it was a whole family event — with donut compensation of course 🍩)
It was a pleasure and a privilege welcoming 6 new Patriots to Promise Landing Farm for the clinic, and cheering them on as they learned introductory skills of grooming and leading, and progressed through the day to a competitive challenge course!! (team 2 with the slow&steady strategy surprised us all with the W)
A lunch social topped off the day for the attendees.
Thank you to the volunteers who make these events possible, and ensure an educational and supportive experience for each Patriot.
