Haaaaaaave you met our friend, Fiona?? 👀🤎

The bar for entry as a therapeutic program horse is pretty high, and really requires a unique combination of temperament, consistency, and athletic ability. As our program grows, we are thrilled to welcome a new addition to our inclusive program, and you might notice she resembles some other familiar celebrity faces 🤩

We are tickled to have a “mini-Clydesdale” of our own and Fiona has been a wonderful member of our equine team, already confidently serving veterans and adaptive riders. 💛

Come on out to meet her, we can’t wait to see you at the farm!

While we wish it was true, we indeed have not *yet* secured Dolly Parton for our 2026 Promise Ball— but we sure enjoyed having a good laugh with you all yesterday!! 😅🥰

➡️It IS true that tickets are ON SALE tomorrow, Friday April 3rd at noon! 🎟️🎟️

Don’t wait - because this year’s Promise Ball is going to be one for the books. 👀🤠✨

This we have a pretty big announcement 👀🥾

Get ready to swap out your barn boots for running shoes, because June 7th, we’re hitting the trails— sans ponies — and hosting Promise Landing Farm’s first and inaugural INCLUSIVE Trail Trotters 5k and Fun Run!!

This FUNdraiser will include a family friendly (and competitive, if that’s your jam) 5k over the PLF picturesque acreage, OR a field fun run for kids, adaptive, or roped-into-it-at-the-last-minute runners 😉

Followed by a lunch social for runners, cheer leaders, volunteers, and visitors with food trucks, live music and barn tours!

Did you know, one study reported that people with an intellectual disability were 7 times more likely to be lonely than the general public.

And our incredible community here at Promise Landing Farm believes that Redefining Inclusive is the BEST and most effective way to work !

We believe that horses, and those who love them, offer a special type of friendship — empowering and uplifting equestrians of ALL abilities.

Worlddownsyndromeday.org shares that the way to stop loneliness is 1. Real inclusion 2. Welcoming spaces 3. Meaningful relationships— and we couldn’t agree more!
Thank you to every rider, volunteer, horse (they make a difference to feeling welcome, too!) and staff who helps us make PLF a fun, safe and inclusive program.
