John Andrew Witt DC Network Spinal - Epienergetics At The Center for Epienergetics, we use a concept, philosophy and method that are defined by the term Reorganizational Healing.

There are different approaches to healthcare and different types of treatment that accompany them. Our approach is holistic because we consider the whole person and recognize that many different aspects of our lives contribute to our current state of health and wellbeing in our body and mind. We have chosen to take the approach of Reorganizational Healing because it embraces a broad perspective on health and life. Some people seek care at our wellness center because they are in pain. Our approach to pain is different than many other disciplines. Reorganizational Healing is about the person who is experiencing the pain, not the pain itself. It’s about how the person experiences the pain and what it brings up for him. Pain is an indication that your life -- whether internal or external -- is out of balance. Pain will help bring that imbalance into our awareness if we allow it to do so. This is the issue with any treatment that seeks to treat pain: we miss the opportunity to become aware of the imbalance in our life; we miss the message that the pain is carrying; and we miss the opportunity for a change to a better life that awaits us. Treating pain allows us to keep our life, as out of balance as it may be, continuing on the way that it is. This is not Reorganizational Healing. Reorganizational Healing uses the pain as an opportunity to make us pause and pay attention to what is going on, to recognize the need for change, and to reorganize our lives to a state that better serves us, our family, our community, and humanity as a whole. We acknowledge the importance of exercise (if there is a fountain of youth, it is exercise) and nutrition because you are what you eat. But our approach is more specifically focused on the spine and how it acts as the interface between your body, your mind and your life. We look to enhance the awareness of how distress in one -- whether it is in your body, your mind, your life or your spine -- will create distress in the others. Conversely, creating peace in one will create peace in the others as well. This is the magic of working through the spine. If you are in distress, possibly from pain, a disease or an illness and are not sure how to address it, making positive changes in the spine, will create positive changes in the body, the mind, and in one's life as well. Our Wellness Center uses an application of chiropractic called Network Spinal (NSA) that involves the formation of the Network Wave that is unique to Network care. This particular application uses contacts that consist of a gentle pressure along the spine to initiate the healing response, as opposed to a firmer “structural” adjustment or manipulation. Many people are seeking symptomatic relief, and that is understandable. But at some point in a person’s life, he reaches a point where limiting his activities and living in fear that another episode of pain may occur becomes unacceptable -- it is time for a change. Reorganizational healing is designed to facilitate that change and help you to create a life that reaches the new standard you set for yourself. With NSA, the goal is to help a person develop what we call “healing strategies.” This means developing tools to heal yourself, to auto-regulate, or “self-correct,” vertebral subluxations that are the spinal misalignments chiropractors talk about, feel good, and have a great life. The major strategy that develops with NSA is the Network Wave. The Network Wave is unique to NSA and it is what makes NSA so effective. The wave is what makes it all happen. The Network Wave involves two waves, a respiratory and somatopsychic wave. The Wave is believed to be the means by which the body is able to shift from one state of being to another. The Wave is a strategy that the body develops through network care to be able to quickly reorganize itself and the mind to a new state of being. When a person is in a state of stress, he exhibits defense physiology in which the muscles are tight and the body is armored. During a network session, the spinal gateway, which is an access point along the spine to healing energy, is contacted using a light force. This causes the brain to connect to the gateway energy and this connection shifts the brain’s state from defense to a state of ease. Being that the body and mind are one, the body must now make a similar shift to match the new state of mind. The Wave provides the body with a quick and efficient way to make this shift. The body goes into a state of “organized chaotic instability” for a moment as it reorganizes. This is the Network Wave. During the research process, it has been found that as a person progresses through the levels of care, The Wave becomes more complex. This shows that a learning process on the part of the central nervous system is taking place as a person progresses in care. The person gets better at healing themselves as time goes on and is able to make larger and more significant changes with greater ease as he moves through each level of care. For example, if a person takes piano lessons and learns – with practice – to play “Mary Had a Little Lamb,” it does not mean that he can play Mozart’s music, for it is much more complex. But if he progresses and can eventually play Mozart’s music, then “Mary Had a Little Lamb” becomes very easy. The focus of our Wellness Center is creating new strategies for healing yourself and living a great life. There is no way to fully describe this other than to truly experience it for yourself. If you are at a point in your life where it is time for something different, time to make a change and live life at a new level, Reorganizational Healing at the Network Center for Healing and Wellness may be just what you are looking for.

Bringing Your Best Self to Life Starts With Being Rich In The Energy That Heals....

Being your best self is synonymous with being on a healing journey. Each step forward on this journey creates a better version of yourself. It’s not because you’re healing everything that’s “wrong” with you, but because you’re on the journey. Your best self isn’t about reaching a final destination—it's about being on the healing path. We are our best selves when we are healing, not when we are “healed.”

The “healing power” of our body is our energy—our life force, the very essence that makes us alive, our "soul," if you will. As you progress on your healing journey, you grow this energy and expand who you are as a person. Every step you take—over obstacles, through challenges, and by stretching your limits—grows your energy, making you more “energy-rich” and more of your best self.

As a result of growing your energy, you become “richer” in the energy that heals, offering you greater potential to heal not just physically, but also mentally, emotionally, and socially, overcoming what’s been ailing you and holding you back in life.

The key idea is that being “rich” in the energy that heals is synonymous with being your “best self.”

Being on the healing journey and continuously growing your energy keeps you moving forward on your path, flowing with life’s current, no matter what obstacles arise along the way. Healing is what keeps us flowing, and flowing is what keeps us healing.

For example, imagine flowing along a river, and suddenly the current speeds up, turning into rapids. If you hit a rock—representing trauma—and your energy is too low to handle the impact, you may cling to the rock in an attempt to protect yourself from further harm. We cannot be our best selves when we are defensively clinging to rocks, stuck in fear. When we are stuck, we’re not growing, not energy-rich, and not on our healing journey.

However, the more energy-rich you are, the better equipped you are to handle life’s challenges, rolling with the punches and continuing to flow forward.

One common misconception about healing is the belief that we must first “let go” of the rock before we can heal or flow. In reality, we won’t let go of the rock until we have enough energy to handle what life has thrown our way—the rock itself—and continue flowing forward. Instead of waiting for the rock to disappear, we raise our energy, accept the rock’s existence, and choose to flow anyway. This act of flowing is the healing process itself, is energy rich, and is our best self.

You can’t cling and flow at the same time.

To flow, we need to raise our energy and be able to handle life’s challenges without becoming stuck. With greater energy, we’re constantly healing and recovering in the moment, more inclined to keep flowing and progressing on our journey. This process is all happening at the same time—it’s like a sliding scale: when we’re energy-rich, we flow and heal; when we’re energy-poor, we’re stuck on rocks. It’s all about the energy state we choose. Our energy state can change from moment to moment and day to day, but the more we prioritize flowing and moving forward, the more our energy grows, the more resilient we become to life’s challenges, and the more we are our “best self.”

Raising your energy and becoming more “energy-rich” is exactly what happens during a network spinal/epienergetics session. This process naturally increases your energy, helping you heal, flow, stay on your journey, grow your energy, handle obstacles, trust yourself, and bring your best self to life.

To bring your best self to life, it’s essential to feel good, be fully present, and handle whatever life throws at you without becoming overwhelmed or defensive. You can’t be your best if you’re distracted by pain or stressed over small things. To be your best self, you must be able to be fully engaged in the present moment.

No one, or No thing gets your best if minimize your activities, limit your feelings, or block out the world to be comfortable.

Our goal is to help you gain confidence in your ability to heal and handle life’s challenges. We want you to be liberated from the fear of sickness or injury, knowing that if you do face these obstacles, you have an internal strategy to empower your healing. We want you to experience firsthand that by raising your energy, you can handle and heal from far more than you might believe.

Being rich in the energy that heals and empowers us gives us a powerful tool in our toolbox to create and live the life we’re capable of, the life we deserve, and the life we’re called to live. A life where we are our Best Self.

When your expectations meet reality, You have peace.

The expectation is that life will have:
Success and Failures Pains and Pleasants
Wins and Losses Stress and Flow

Our timeless self is on a journey in human form, having experiences along the way. Some are pleasant, some challenging or unpleasant. But either way, they are experiences that our timeless self has throughout this journey we call Life.

In the energy-rich state of being our “timeless self,” we expect to have a full range of experiences—as Baskin Robbins Ice Cream would say, all “31 Flavors” of the human experience. We actually wouldn’t have it any other way.

In the lower energy state of what the “mind” wants, we expect to have specific experiences and believe life should always be smooth and pleasant. Then it’s painful when the reality of life doesn’t work out that way.

Whenever our expectations conflict with reality, we feel pain and see the experience as a problem that must be avoided or resolved.

When we expect pleasant and painful experiences along the way, our expectations match reality, we are at peace, and we flow effortlessly.

The effort in life comes with trying to manage the experiences that don't match our expectations.

Our timeless self understands the nature of life and wants to feel all it has to offer. It has the energy richness and resulting resilience to flow along with life, without being overwhelmed by painful or unpleasant experiences. As long as we’re not overwhelmed, we keep flowing and don’t spend valuable time worrying and agonizing about things like rain on an April day, because we expect it.

Chiropractic and the Art of Vehicle Maintenance
For anyone who has had or is having shoulder, hip, or knee replacement surgery.

If the tires on your car wore out quickly and unevenly and you brought your car to a… let’s say... less-than-initiated mechanic, he might replace your tires and never question why they wore out so quickly and unevenly.

A more industrious mechanic might look further to find that the rack-and-pinion steering was worn, allowing one wheel to go one way and the other to go another, causing the tires to wear out before their time.

In this scenario, the driver and the steering wheel are good.
It’s the link between the steering wheel and the tires that’s causing the problem. When you get new tires, unless you want them to wear out in a couple of thousand miles, you’ll have to address the rack-and-pinion steering.

The tires represent the joint you’re having or had replaced. The rack-and-pinion steering is your spine, the connection between the brain and your body. If the supporting structure of your body is not maintained in alignment, allowing for good communication, your new joints may end up going the way of your original joints.

Remember, this doesn’t mean don’t replace your “tires”. But, with our health, just like our cars, we are called to go outside the normal healthcare paradigm, and look beyond the presenting conditions, to create the best possible outcome.

This applies to any part of your body that needs medication or surgery to continue to function. Treating the part and assuming that all is well without questioning what may have contributed to its malfunction is like being that uninitiated mechanic...
and our bodies deserve better than that, or at least what our cars get.

We may think that we are on our own, alone, on our journey.

We may think that we must face obstacles with only our own resources.

When Life presents us with taller mountains and wider rivers, we may feel that Life is unfair and ask, “Why do my mountains have to be so tall?”

The truth is brought to light in Rumi’s poem:
“You are not a drop in the ocean, but the entire ocean in one drop.”

You are not facing that mountain in front of you alone.
The Universe is not out there ignoring you, while you’re alone, in here.

We and the Universe ARE the same thing. Like a wave on the ocean is made of the ocean water, we are made of the Universe. It’s what each one of us is.

The truth is we have all the energy of the Universe within us and available to climb the mountain and cross the river.
When we turn our lens from just me alone facing the world before us, to knowing that the entire Universe is facing the world, we are strong.

And when the “mountains” of struggles and challenges come before us, we confidently know that, “We got this.”
And we are empowered to take a breath, fix our eyes on the top of the mountain, relax and move forward.

During a session at our wellness center, We help you connect to the energy rich, unseen, unbound energy that’s referred to as “The Universe” that helps you redirect your lens and feel the peace and ease that this naturally creates.

Simply... a Network Session

In an ideal state we are "loosely bound energy". Where our body, mind and emotions are like water - Loose, flowing, flexible, resilient, and adaptable - allowing for a healthy body, a wide range of emotions, and the ability to see many different points of view.

If you lower the energy in water, it becomes ice. The energy is "tightly bound"- rigid, fixed, and unchanging. In this lower energy state the body is stiff, tight and prone to injury, the mind's ability to see varied points of view is restricted and, and the emotions are often bound up leaving a narrow range of experience. ...the resiliency, flexibility, and adaptability is gone... The ability respond appropriately, and function normally is lost. leading to stress, pain and disease.

If you take ice and put it out in the "unbound energy" of the hot sun, IT MELTS and becomes water again - loosely bound energy. This is the healing process experienced with a Network Spinal Epienergetics session.

During a Network session, we locate the pattern of tightly bound energy and connect it to energy rich unbound energy through access points along the spine called Spinal Gateways. This connection raises our energy, opens our mind, unblocks emotions, and allows the pain, tension and disease associated with the tightly bound energy to "melt"...and be healed.

A Little More Soul Shine….

As I contemplated that my purpose in life is for my Soul to Shine, it occurred to me that the nature of our soul is that it shines – without doing anything at all. Souls just shine all on their own.

But I don’t always feel like I'm shining. Sometimes I’m stressed about traffic, anxious about something, and at times, even suffering. My neck is tight, my breathing is shallow, my stomach is upset, and I can’t focus. It seems that the different parts of me – my mind, thoughts, emotions and body – are feeling more like the struggle of the day rather than my “shiny” soul.

There are also times when my mind, thoughts, body, and emotions feel at peace. My muscles are relaxed, my breathing is deep, and my body seems to be functioning in a healthy way. Maybe this is when my soul is shining through my human form, illuminating and uplifting my humanity.

So I contemplate: What determines whether my mind, thoughts, emotions and body are going to reflect the stresses in my life or my shining soul? The books and tapes say it’s what I choose…

If this is true, then I would assume I have always been choosing my “state” and do so from one moment to the next. Most of the time, it seems this choice is being made “unconsciously,” because why would I choose to be stressed?

But what if I choose “consciously” to see and experience myself and the world through the lens of my shining soul? I imagine I would experience the past as a warm nostalgia, the future with trust, and myself as the presence of my shining soul. I would feel passion for life and limitless resources.

When I really think about it, that would be pretty nice.

But maybe I’m also “supposed” to feel regret, fear, and anxiousness. Maybe I’m supposed to be confused about what I should do, feel stuck in the mud and like the world is against me. We all seem to feel that way at times. It's like it’s part of the “31 Flavors” that make up our lives.

Then I wonder: Maybe it’s not supposed to be one or the other. May it’s supposed to be both, where one leads and the other follows in a dance back and forth. Not necessarily with one as the “leader,” but rather a continual ebb and flow, where my human needs inform my soul and then my soul shines back on them with what they need.

Maybe my best choice is to allow the dance, enjoy the dance, and not get in the way of it.

Maybe the reason I’m here is to be “aware” of my shining soul, my humanness, and the dance back and forth... and to dance along with it.

So my friends, let your soul shine, enjoy the sunshine, embrace the moonshine, and sing in the rain.
