This month we’re celebrating 5 incredible years with Mahala — our amazing Scheduling Coordinator and PTA!

Mahala truly goes above and beyond every single day. Whether she’s coordinating schedules behind the scenes, supporting patients in the field, or jumping into whatever role is needed, she does it all with heart, professionalism, and dedication.

🚨 Fall Prevention Starts at Home 🚨

Falls are one of the leading causes of injury for older adults — but many falls are preventable with a few simple changes.

Here are 3 common fall hazards in the home to look out for:

1️⃣ Loose Rugs & Cluttered Walkways
Throw rugs, electrical cords, and small furniture in walking paths can easily cause trips. Remove loose rugs or secure them with non-slip backing.
2️⃣ Poor Lighting
Dim hallways, staircases, and bathrooms increase fall risk — especially at night. Add nightlights and make sure light switches are easy to access.
3️⃣ Bathrooms Without Grab Bars
Wet surfaces are slippery. Installing grab bars near the toilet and in the shower can significantly reduce fall risk.
