Wheatland Equestrian was honored to welcome elite show jumper and para dressage rider Lizzy Traband for a training session with PATRONUM de L’Aube, affectionately known as Paddy. Named USEF Junior Equestrian of the Year in 2016, Lizzy has built an impressive international show jumping career grounded in talent, discipline, and determination. Yesterday, she traded her Grand Prix jumpers for one of our emerging FEI dressage horses, stepping into the sandbox to play with the movements, refine the fundamentals, and enjoy the beauty of dressage partnership. We are so proud of Paddy’s progress and honored to have Lizzy in the saddle. Best of luck this week at the Upperville C**t & Horse Show — we’ll be cheering you on and can’t wait to welcome you back to the sandbox soon! ✨🐴

Wheatland Equestrian was honored to welcome elite show jumper and decorated para dressage rider Lizzy Traband for a training session yesterday with Patronum de L’Aube, affectionately known as Paddy. Lizzy brings an extraordinary record of success in show jumping and was named USEF Junior Equestrian of the Year in 2016. Since then, she has built an impressive international show jumping career and business grounded in talent, discipline, and determination. Yesterday, however, Lizzy traded her Grand Prix jumpers for one of our emerging FEI dressage horses, Paddy, stepping into the sandbox to play with the movements, refine the fundamentals, and enjoy the beauty of dressage. Lizzy is an inspiring example of what is possible when resilience, talent, and hard work come together. We are honored to work with her and grateful for the joy she brings to the journey. We are so excited to once again be participating in the Upperville C**t & Horse Show— one of our very favorite weeks of the year! Last year, Wheatland Equestrian proudly fielded hunters, jumpers, and para dressage horses at this iconic show. Now, newly blessed to call our beautiful farm home just four miles down the road from the showgrounds, the excitement for UCHS 2026 is already building. Horses are being polished to perfection, final rounds are being practiced, and — most exciting of all — our para dressage riders are growing in number for this year’s demonstration event in the Parker Ring on June 6.
