🧠 Around 25% of collegiate athletes show signs of depression.
🧠 About 33% of collegiate athletes quit their perspective sport due to declining mental health.
🧠 Sports performance anxiety impacts 40% of student-athletes.
Numerous challenges come along with the commitment of being a student-athlete. Remember that it’s important to do things (like exercise) that increase your serotonin, which fights depression, and reaching out to others for help is nothing to be embarrassed about. Your mental health comes before your sport!
