The Service League at Carle Health Pekin Hospital generously contributed $61,000 to support the Young Minds Center in West Peoria. This incredible gift was made possible through sales from the hospital gift shop, Nearly Nu Resale Shop and the annual holiday show. We’re grateful for the Service League’s hard work and commitment to supporting our patients, families and team members.

We’re so grateful to those who supported the Theresa Tracy Strive to Survive fundraiser and honored Theresa by assisting others in their cancer journey. The Theresa Tracy Trot donated $40,044 to enhance the care Carle Health provides to patients with pancreatic cancer in the Greater Peoria area and advance pancreatic cancer research at Stephens Family Clinical Research Institute in Urbana.

The Women’s Service League donated $100,000 to the Center for Philanthropy for their 2025 fundraising efforts. The Service League raises money through the Methodist Hospital gift shop, flower shop, and holiday gift show. We’re incredibly grateful for their amazing work and dedication.

Giving it all you’ve got can really take a lot out of you. That’s why the Greatest Needs Committee at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital recently awarded a $7,500 grant to create a new green space designed for hospital employees. The space, expected to be completed by spring 2026, will ultimately benefit patients who’ll receive care from team members who are more refreshed, centered, focused and ready to take on the challenge of the day.

For families staying at the Carle Auxiliary Guest House, a well-stocked pantry isn’t just convenient – it’s a gesture of care and community. This year, members of the Women’s Legacy Circle helped ensure the Guest House pantry is always filled with grab-and-go nourishment for those with a loved one receiving lifesaving care at Carle Foundation Hospital. Their donations provided prepackaged foods, giving guests the comfort of a meal or snack whenever they need it. Thanks for stocking the pantry.

We’re sending a huge thank you to Holly Sherrick and her incredible Mary Kay Cosmetics team. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they came together to assemble and create 150 chemo care packages – filled with lip balm and hydrating fragrance-free lotion – for patients receiving breast cancer treatment at Mills Breast Cancer Institute. These thoughtful kits will bring comfort and care to those needing support and hope.
