Minute-to-win-it games are super popular with family and friends. We tried new games: Cups, Reindeer Hands, Blow off Marshmallows, Post it Shake Off, last Wednesday. We had so much fun trying something new and fun, there was so much laughter in the room. We even had an audience cheering one another. Our Business Office Manager, Alison came in for the Post it Shake Off. Thank you, Alison, for joining the fun! There's no age limit trying something new and having fun! We are game for the next minute-to-win-it games. Are you game?

Brookdale Urbana has a great amount of experience and knowledge when it comes to dementia. Come join our Clare Bridge Program Director, Gail, as we come together for our monthly Embrace Family Partnership Program. This support group is free and open to anyone who is looking for education and support! It is the last Tuesday of every month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in our theater room. We will be in person and virtual.

Our address is Brookdale Urbana, 1706 E Amber Lane, Urbana, IL 61820. For virtual information or any questions, please call 217-328-3150. We hope to see you tomorrow (Tuesday, December 23rd) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.!

You can say it was a sleigh ride in a winter wonderland during our Holiday Family Night where residents and their loved ones, family & friends and our associates enjoyed carriage rides. It was cold, snow was falling and awe enjoyed relaxing. Thank you, Merrybeth Farm Carriage Service and Rocking R Carriage & Ranch! We can't wait for the next ride!

Last Thursday, our annual Holiday Family Night was a special night for our residents, families, friends, and associates to celebrate this holiday season with a spread of delicious hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. Special thank you to our Dining Department for putting together an incredible spread for everyone to enjoy.

We want to thank all of our residents, families, friends and associates for celebrating with us for another special Holiday Family Night. It was a beautiful, magical, marvelous, and joy to see the smiles, hear the conversations and laughter. It was an enriching evening with everyone especially this holiday season with The Voices of Brookdale singing, music entertainment with Tom "Tomcat" Cortese, on the piano & Kaye Kent and surprise visit from Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus. Thank you to Elijah, from Champaign County Humane Society for bringing a 7-month pit bull mix puppy named Turk. He was so adorable. We fell in love with his cuteness, joyful smile, playful energy and his comfort. He enjoyed the extra love from us. There was definitely cuteness overload! We can't wait for next month!
