Since last month was National Hot Dog Month, and Pigs in a Blanket are popular appetizers, last Tuesday, we tried something new by prepping Pigs in a Blanket during Culinary Club. We enjoyed socializing, laughing and reminiscing with our friends. What's your favorite appetizer?

We love our scenic rides and lunch outings, especially trying out a new pizza place in Mahomet. We enjoyed our adventure through the country roads, and we were amazed by how big the corn was. We didn't see any corn dusters flying! But we enjoyed the atmosphere, customer service and loved the delicious food at Briks Pizzeria. If you love pizza, we highly recommend you try it out, and "The Chicky" was delicious too. Thank you, Briks Pizzeria! We can't wait to go there again!

Brookdale Urbana has a great amount of experience and knowledge when it comes to dementia. Come join our Clare Bridge Program Director, Gail, who is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, as we come together for our monthly Embrace Family Partnership Program. This support group is free and open to anyone who is looking for education and support! It is the last Tuesday of every month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in our theater room. We will be in person and virtual.
