We recently celebrated Ethel & Maud's Table 10-year anniversary!

This special gathering began back in April 2015 with a simple idea: share a delicious meal and meaningful conversation with friends once a month “at the table”. Co-hosted by Laura Edwards, VP of Strategy and Innovation, and Sara Hawkins, Director of Community Life, the very first luncheon took place in an empty storefront at Lincoln Square Mall—and over 50 people showed up! It didn’t take long for word to spread, and by the next year, the event was welcoming more than 100 guests each month at different venues around Champaign-Urbana.

Today, Ethel & Maud’s Table is more than just a meal it’s a joyful tradition where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and everyone is warmly welcomed.

On what would have been State Senator Scott Bennett's 48th birthday, the new Scott Bennett Administrative Center was dedicated. This center will serve as a centralized location for many Champaign County services. We are celebrating this wonderful way to honor his legacy.
