At the National Senior Games, WesleyLife team members were honored to witness something unexpected and moving.
During a hula-hooping challenge at the WesleyLife booth, the Women Warriors — a basketball team from the state of Washington — stepped up with determination and joy. Many of them are breast cancer survivors, and their presence was a testament to resilience, sisterhood, and healthy aging.
When one of them, Fran, beat the record of the day, she chose not to write her name, but "Women Warriors" — a powerful gesture of unity and strength. For one of our own team members, recently completing breast cancer treatment herself, the moment was meaningful.
