Today our team wore red for National Wear Red Day, part of American Heart Month, to raise awareness about heart disease.

We also wore red in honor and remembrance of those who have served. WesleyLife Hospice is proud to be a Level 5 partner with We Honor Veterans, reflecting our deep commitment to providing compassionate end-of-life care for our nation’s Veterans.

For some people, retirement is a tough transition. For David Roederer, it took “five, maybe 10 seconds.”

In this video, part of our Joyful Aging series, the retired political executive reflects on what retirement gave him back: time, perspective, and a slower pace. “You get your life back,” he says. “Life has slowed down a little. I was happy when I was working, but I’m really happy now.”

His advice is simple: Go into retirement with the right attitude. Life is beginning, not ending.
