I will be returning to work on Monday June 1, 2020
Everything will be different when you enter the office. I’m working with guidelines from the Iowa Department of Health and OSHA on a few massage industry guidelines. Your health and my health are important!
To the best of my knowledge, I have not been exposed to anyone with covid-19. I have 3 comorbidities plus I’m 5 months away from being 65, so I have been pretty isolated at home since March 17, 2020.
I will only be working on 2 patients per day beginning Monday June 1, 2020.
I will still be taking Thursday and Sunday off. Here are my new hours:
Monday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Wednesday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Friday 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Saturday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

DES MOINES - Today, Gov. Reynolds signed a new proclamation continuing the State Public Health Emergency Declaration. The proclamation orders the closure of schools, waiving time requirements as long as school districts put in place a continuous learning plan until April 30th this also includes massage businesses.

We just entered a new month. We all have questions and visions of what might really be happening to our families, our healthcare system and our economy. When the shelter in place finishes, I’ll be back to work. For now, be happy and stay healthy. Happy April 2020.

As we all face the issues of additional stress in the midst of the Coronavirsu, I'm praying you all take the time to Relax, Breathe, Slow Down and spend time getting to know your families and friends through social media and the telephone or even Zoom. I know I'm looking forward to getting back to work and regular trips out of the house. Our Iowa Governor, Kim Reynolds mandated that Massage Therapy Businesses must be closed until April 1, 2020. Hoping that doesn't change and I'll see you soon!

Hydration Recipe

Lemon Water
Ingredients:
2 lemons, sliced
Water

Instructions:
Place lemons and water in a large pitcher and refrigerate until cold. If you want extra lemon flavor, squeeze the juice from some of the slices directly into the water. Beware of seeds.
