We are thrilled to welcome Nikki Krabbe to New Heights as a practicum student from Drake University. Nikki comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience from her career as a school counselor and college student support coordinator. Nikki works with clients aged 5-21 in an empathetic and collaborative approach. She utilizes evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy and aims to tailor treatment to meet each clients unique needs and goals. She specializes in helping children and teens coping with anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship issues, behavioral issues, social concerns, and more.

While here at New Heights she is under the direct supervision of Jim Wilwerding (M. Div, MA, LMHC, NCC) and will be seeing clients on a pro-bono basis. To schedule with Nikki, you are welcome to email student@newheightscounseling.org.

During extreme temperatures for either heat or cold, the Polk County Extreme Temperature Plan will be in effect. Activation criteria for extreme temperatures is as follows:
